React developer

NOTE THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION. We are looking for two developers from mid January until the end of March 2022. The role may become a full time position.

The selection process includes an interview as well as a 3 hour coding challenge.What the team will look like: (6 px)
  • 1x Senior backend engineer
  • 1x Project manager (and cloud engineer)
  • 1x Senior frontend developer
  • 2x Junior/mid-level React specialists (These are the roles we are filling)
  • 1x Intern React developer
Our tech stack:
  • AWS
  • MongoDB
  • Express REST API
  • React
  • Gitlab
What we have done already:
  • UI/UX design. The design was done in Figma and includes all the necessary components for development. (fonts, icons, etc…)
  • Database design
  • Backend REST API
  • React app foundations including but not limited to:
    • Redux system
    • Global themes and standardised CSS
    • Standardised components including:
      • Elements (button, carousel, form etc…)
      • Layout components (Flex and Grid)
      • Typographical components (Heading, paragraph, caption etc…)

What we need from you:

  • We need 2 React specialist to focus on building out the UI and associated functionality.
  • We have prepared all supporting infrastructure and documentation to ensure that you can focus what your are good at – CSS, Javascript and React.

Some common questions asked during interviews.

Vincii is not yet registered with the CIPC but the Holding company is. Your contract will thus be under Renewgen Holdings (PTY) Ltd.

Vincii is under development as a startup since March of 2021.

It is know that startups often misuse and take advantage of developers to work excessive hours for minimum pay. At Vincii we are performance based and hence we will not follow this trend. 

At Vincii you will work your hours a week and be paid appropriately. Furthermore, if you do go above and over, then you will be rewarded for your hard work. 

Vincii is an innovation-driven startup with big aspirations and an actionable roadmap to achieve them. At Vincii you will grow as a person and as a professional. It is our philosophy to grow our people alongside our product.
